Jackie Beacon and David Gillett

We had the sadness of losing both David Gillett and Jacqui Beacon in one fell swoop of destiny’s hand. They both died in a car crash in Brazil, on their way to a healing retreat in August 2004. They are deeply missed not only by all those who knew them personally and loved them for their generosity of heart and spirit, but by the world at large, as they were well known and respected in their field of expertise: Environmental Harmony.

David Gillett, a farmer from Suffolk, and Jacqui Beacon, a special needs teacher, had become life as well as work partners and had joined forces in the early 1990s to develop techniques for detecting and clearing various forms of environmental stress and restoring a harmonious balance, working in private homes and in businesses. They realised that people could become very ill when living or working in an environment affected by electro-magnetic, geopathic or geopsychic stress. Cancer, thyroid problems, M.E., migraine, insomnia, infertility, learning difficulties were all conditions they encountered which were in many cases induced by the bad vibrations and energies in which people were working or living. Very often, clients would be treated by wonderful practitioners and feel better, only to have all the good work undone by going back into an environment that was depleting their immune system. By removing negative energies and harmonising these people’s environments, David and Jacqui facilitated their healing process, enabling them to not only feel better, but in many cases to heal.

David’s knowledge was vast and multifaceted: it spanned Quantum Physics, Sacred Geometry, Colour Healing, Sound Healing, the devic world of nature, angels, to mention but a few. Jacqui’s talents were equally worthy: she was an extremely powerful and intuitive healer who worked vibrationally. Her learning was extensive as she was constantly adding to her knowledge through courses and self-development.

Part of their vision was to create a Healing Centre where people would come not only for treatments, but also to listen to talks about alternative therapies and attend workshops and courses for self-growth and self- or professional development. David brought that vision to fruition a few years ago by building the Harmony Centre on the farmland where he lived, near Halesworth, in Suffolk.

Another part of their vision was to teach their work, so people could heal themselves and their environments and bring healing to those around them. To this end, they joined forces with Val Bullen and Viviane Fingerhut, both trained teachers and kinesiologists who, together with Jacqui Beacon, had developed a complementary system of vibrational healing called Vibrant Harmony. The two systems (Environmental and Vibrant Harmony) were joined together to become the Diploma in Living Harmony, a two-year course devised to bring out and honour people’s individual healing skills in order to detect and correct energy imbalances in themselves, others, the environment and properties.This course, to David and Jacqui’s greatest joy, was accredited in June 2004 by the Association for Energy Therapists (which is affiliated to the BCMA), bringing yet another of their dreams to reality.

Jacqui and David, we love you, miss you and mourn you. We will continue where you left off, though we may never replace you, but we will make sure that your life’s work continues to heal humanity. Thank you for Being.

Val Bullen and Viviane Fingerhut have pledged to continue teaching the principles of Living Harmony incorporating the knowledge they received so generously from Jacqui and David.
